I am a Thai tech geek and ICT policy researcher. Co-founder of Blognone and SIU.
This is my personal blog for almost everything.
The data is from O'Reilly Research. Ben Lorica blog about this in O'Reilly Radar. The full slide (with data for other countries) can be downloaded from Slideshare.
At 15 April 2009, estimated number of Thai Facebook users is around 300,000. The more interesting number is the growth rate (12 weeks, since mid-January 2009) is 58.1%.
We believe that the most popular social network in Thailand is Hi5, is this believe still true? Unfortunately I don't have any Hi5 statistics data to compare.
The numbers from other Asian countries are also interesting. Will write about them somehow.

Many Hi5 users around me,
Many Hi5 users around me, smoothly switch to Facebook because of Pet Society. And some were forced by my photo albums (only uploaded) on FB.
I believe Hi5 will still be on top for quite a long time because of its theme-able

300,000 users on Facebook
300,000 users on Facebook might be too small krub, according to many sources like www.facebakers.com, http://www.nickburcher.com, or checkfacebook.com, as well as AIS statisitics.
I'm not sure about the number of Hi5 users, as well as Twitter ones. Do you have any suggestion where to find it. Thanks in advance.
